Oxford University Press is the largest University Press in the world and second oldest after Cambridge University. They commissioned us to re-design their Dubai office space and transform it into a modern workspace while representing the brand’s personality.
Our design concept was inspired by multiple elements starting from the brand’s rich history and English literature to the cities of Oxford and Dubai. We split the space into sections and sketched all new office artwork represent an element of the above. So for instance, one of the meeting rooms had a map of Dubai with all the hotspots and sight seeing locations to act as a guide to all visitors coming for the first time from the UK. Shakespeare inspired another section of the office where famous characters like Hamlet and Ophelia were illustrated on the walls and so on.
